The word aura sounds like something you cannot pin down. In the room it looks ordinary. You rest a finger on the sensor surface, the device takes an image, and ten minutes later a report with diagrams is in front of you. Here is what goes into that report and what to do with it.
What the device captures
Bio-Well uses gas discharge visualisation. A fingertip enters a weak electric field, a glow appears around it, and a camera records its shape and brightness. All ten fingers are captured one after another. You feel no current, nothing is left on the skin, and the capture takes about ten minutes.
Then the software takes over. It matches the glow of each finger against a map built by the makers of the device and assembles a single picture out of ten images. That picture is what people call the energy field, or the aura.
The effect itself has been known since the nineteen twenties, when the Kirlians produced the first images of objects glowing in a high frequency field. For a long time it stayed a laboratory curiosity. What makes Bio-Well different is that the image is processed by software following one algorithm. Two sessions can then be compared with each other, not only looked at separately.
How a session works
The visit takes one hour to ninety minutes and falls into three parts. The first ten minutes go to preparation: we go over how the device works and what you will see in the report. Another ten minutes is the capture of ten fingers, with individual frames retaken when needed. The remaining forty minutes are spent walking through the report section by section, which is the point of the whole thing.
What you see in the report
The report is split into sections, and each answers its own question.
A visual image of the energy field of the body, showing how energy is distributed and how balanced it is overall
An assessment of the overall energy of the body in numeric and visual form
An assessment of energy symmetry between the left and right side of the body, which helps to see how even the state is
An indicator that reflects how the body responds to physical and emotional load
A visualisation of the activity of seven energy centres and how they balance each other
Energy readings shown graphically, which the Bio-Well methodology associates with different systems of the body
An assessment of how well the body adapts to daily load and restores its energy resources
In the extended programme a repeat assessment lets you compare results before and after 21 days and see the dynamics of the change
How to read it
The practical value of the report lies elsewhere. It gives you language for something you already feel. A person arrives saying that they are tired and do not know why, and leaves with a picture showing a high stress reading and balance tilted to one side. From there you can actually do something.
What affects the result
The readings move, and that is normal. A sleepless night, coffee before the session, freshly washed hands, long nails and medication all shape the picture. In women the numbers change noticeably during menstruation and for two days after. This is why we ask you to take off rings and your watch, not to eat for ninety minutes beforehand and not to wash your hands right before you arrive.
That mobility leads to the main property of the method. One scan is a point, and meaning appears when there are two.
How to check this is not a waste of money
The most common objection is blunt: nice pictures, but the result cannot be verified. The answer is simple and built into the technology itself.
You come back for a repeat scan after three weeks of working on your state. The same parameters are measured again, with the same device and the same algorithm. The difference sits side by side on one screen. If between the two scans you did daily aromatherapy, breathing practice and slept properly, there usually is a difference. If nothing changed, the picture stays the same, and that is an honest answer too.
What to do with the result
The report on its own changes nothing. What changes things is what you start doing afterwards, and regularity works better than a single burst of effort.
- Daily aromatherapy with oils chosen for your picture
- Breathing practice and meditation, a few minutes a day
- Calm movement: yoga, swimming, walking
- A sane sleep schedule, which usually shows up in the stress reading first
Most people take one or two habits rather than everything at once. Three weeks later they run a repeat scan and look at what responded.
The full report stays with you. From there the choice is simple. You can work with the report on your own, or take a selection of essential oils matched to your picture. You can also come for aromatherapy or olfactotherapy, where the work goes through scent.
Who it is not suitable for
The scan is not carried out for people with a pacemaker. Otherwise there are few restrictions, though accuracy depends on the preparation we go over when you book.
If you want to see your own picture and go through it with an aromatherapist, have a look at the service page. It describes how a session works, what the price includes and how to book.
